I admit that I had my doubts about the effectiveness of the Magic Eraser. I fought my willingness to try it for two years. I truly thought, "How could a sponge take on some of the grit and grime that I encounter if products like Comet, Scrubbing Bubbles, and various degreasers struggle to help a sister out?"

Well, one of my cleaners sent me a video one day. She had cleaned half of a shower with my preferred Comet and the other half was still discolored and scummy. In the video she said, "Look Courtney." She wet the sponge and began briskly scrubbing. "It's not even that hard." Within seconds, the Magic Eraser side of this shower floor looked more clean than the "already clean" side! So I had to try it for myself. I got the Walmart brand box and the brand name box so that I could see if there is a difference between the two. So far, I've not noticed a difference and the magic erasers have been a life saver to me on some of the most stubborn and challenging cleans! They are gentle enough to use on a painted wall (great for removing "kid prints") and intentional enough to stand up to oven grease and years of soap scum build up! I still love my comet on some bathtubs, but I do not attend a clean without my Magic Erasers on hand.
