Our Background
Miss is Clean was created in 2018 as a sub entity of You Times Two, a personal assistance company by Courtney Reed.
Courtney was getting a lot of requests and referrals to clean while also doing real estate, event coordination, administrative assistance, and building You Times Two as a custom concierge service.
As her schedule filled, Courtney realized that creating separate rates, cleaning plan options, and systems for scaling would be required in order to make both You Times Two and the newly founded "Miss is Clean" the best service providers in their respective fields. She wanted to create differentiate between the services for marketing as well. Not everyone wants their cleaning lady to also be planning their wedding... even though both services require an organized mind and attention to detail (the outfit changes were becoming exhausting).
Courtney also realized that in order to hire and scale, there would have to be a differentiation between the companies. When we hire and contract, we specifically look for individuals who are also interested in the personal assistance side of the business so that we can offer them variety in their work and opportunity to learn and try new roles. We feel very strongly that cleaning is just as important as event planning or bill paying. We believe in working towards and for life balance. We believe in career development and want to offer opportunities to teach skills to people while paying them a living wage. We also believe in working with excellence! If we fail or don't meet a standard we have promised, we make it right.
Miss Is Clean will not cut corners and we do not sweep the dirt under the rug. We pride ourselves on attending to the smallest the details, because we know that the little things are what create the feeling of home. Those are the details that impact impressions.
We primarily cater to residential clients in Kansas City, MO. We would love to serve you whether you are wanting a move in/move out clean, a detailed deep clean, or scheduled regular cleans to keep your home maintained.
We have over 17 years of experience in the residential cleaning industry and are prepared to come up with a plan that works with your needs and budget. We also believe in empowering our cleaning assistants to use us as a practical launching pad as they pursue their passions.
We love partnering with missionaries, students, single Mommas and Daddies, and individuals who are in a transitional time of life. We encourage all of our assistants to create and pursue the unique desires of their hearts and do our best to equip and empower them along the way!
